Dave & Blanca Gifford
Vision
Our vision is to see our partner denomination, the Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPC) of Mexico, develop into a strong, unified, and growing Church.
Mission
Dave's mission is to develop new and current leaders for the RPC and develop resources for the denomination. The RPC is a denomination of about 15,000 members, spread out from Tijuana all the way to Cancún. World Missions has been working with the RPC since the 1960s.
Ministry in Mexico
Dave has a variety of tasks. He teaches New Testament and other subjects at the RPC Seminary in Mexico City, leads conferences on topics urgent and relevant to the RPC, gathers statistics and develops the RPC website, and produces Christian materials in Spanish (available on the Giffords’ website).
Dave also works with two local churches and hosts one or two Service and Learning teams to Mexico City each year. Blanca handles the visas for all the Mexico missionaries and helps with a local RPC church’s children’s ministries and ladies’ society.
About Dave & Blanca
Dave and Blanca have served with World Missions since 2004. They served as church planters in Ecuador with Serving in Mission (SIM) from 1994-1999; their son Daniel was born there in 1995. The Giffords’ daughter, Alexandra, was born in Michigan in 2000 while Dave was studying at Calvin Theological Seminary. Daniel and Alexandra currently attend a bilingual private school in Mexico City.
