Vision
We see CRCNA and Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM) Europe and Asia staff vigorously participating in Spirit-led mission with churches and other Christian organizations throughout the world so that together, we are proclaiming the gospel to more and more people who have not heard it, healthy churches are emerging, and the Kingdom of God is advancing in Europe and Asia.
Mission
The CRWM Eurasia Team exists to glorify God by leading the CRC to respond obediently to our Lord’s commission to witness to the good news of God’s Kingdom and make disciples of all nations.
Ministry in Eurasia
Russ is CRWM’s Regional Leader for Europe and Asia. His role involves planning and budgeting for ministries in this region as well as encouraging/supervising CRWM missionaries in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hungary, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Thailand, and Ukraine. Additionally, Russ oversees CRWM projects in Indonesia, India, Myanmar, and Laos.
His tasks include building a regional team from the present 18 missionaries, developing ministry strategy for the Eurasia region, establishing partnerships with other Christian churches and organizations, and researching new options for Kingdom Ministry.
“I firmly believe that I am an extension of your ministry,” Russ shares, “God uses His Church with all of its resources as the transforming agency of His Kingdom. Therefore let us together seek first the kingdom of God and its advancement knowing that God will supply all we need”.
About Russ & Sherry
As a six year old, Russ already knew what his calling was in life; he told his first grade teacher he was going to be a minister when he grew up. He never wavered from this sense of calling on his life.
