VISION Our increasing passion is for people who haven’t heard the gospel or have a very limited exposure to it. Asia is a place where many of these people are living today. For a number of years, we have recognized God’s call on our lives for ministry in Asia. Faith spent most of her life in the Philippines where her parents were missionaries, and heard God’s call to return to Asia. Troy’s call to Asia grew through the late 1990’s and became increasingly apparent through his close contact with Nepali friends and a year internship with CRWM in the Philippines.
MISSION To provide quality theological instruction by teaching and developing broad Kingdom worldview curricula and training materials. To initiate and foster partnerships and connections between CRWM and other agencies, missions, churches, and schools in Bangladesh and Nepal to connect needs with resources and involve North American churches in mission opportunities throughout the region.

MISSION WORK We are excited to join the Lord in His Kingdom work in Asia. He has opened the door for us through Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM) to serve in a seminary in Dhaka, Bangladesh (Christian College of Theology Bangladesh, CCTB).
For the first two years, the focus of our ministry is on learning to speak Bangla and becoming familiar with the culture and ministries that we will work in.
The primary aspects of our ministry in Bangladesh are:
Capacity building at CCTB: Troy will be teaching some courses and eventually help to develop the masters program. The approximately 500 extension students are mostly pastors and Christian leaders ready for a biblical and theological education.
Networking and developing partnering relationships with churches and Christian agencies in the surrounding region (Bangladesh, Nepal, India): We will work to share resources with other seminaries and agencies in order to mutually benefit from each others strengths and resources.
Helping Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC): We work with CRWRC in Bangladesh to develop training materials in the area of values formation that encompass a holistic biblical worldview. The initiative is to create materials that educate and encourage World Relief partners and associates (more than 30 local NGOs here) to serve God as King and Lord of their everyday lives.
