VISION Our vision is to be on the team that is winning Mexico for Christ. Dan received the vision to serve Christ among the Mexican people in 1974 when he was on STS (Summer Training Session in Missions) during the summer after his sophomore year at Calvin. He taught VBS and preached his first message in Spanish in the small fishing town of Champotón, Campeche, where he experienced sickness and loneliness. Felipe and Angelica Santiago offered him hospitality and direction as to an eternal purpose. As Dan saw Filipe pedal his bike through the fields evangelizing hut after hut, the verse about the fields being white unto harvest echoed in his mind.
MISSION We have served in a variety of Mexican venues including a small southern Indian town (Palenque), a central megalopolis (Mexico City) and now a border city (Juarez). Our mission is to prepare hundreds of Mexican church leaders to be pastors, teachers, counselors and evangelists. These biblically oriented Mexican nationals will serve Christ and build His Kingdom for decades to come…perhaps until the second coming. “The earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9b).

Dan is a gifted teacher who designs his classes with the individual capacities and needs of the students in mind. He promotes reflection and integration of learning. His teaching credentials include a BA in Spanish language and culture, Master of Divinity, Master of Education, and Doctor of Ministry in Missions and Theology. He has pastored for five years and taught for nineteen years. Presently, Dan and Jeananne are helping to prepare fifty full-time students for the Gospel ministry in two seminaries. Over the years more than two hundred students have graduated from the seminaries where they have taught. Many other students have received training in seminars and extension centers.
Dan teaches courses in a variety of subjects including New Testament, Old Testament, Greek, Theology and Missions. He counsels students, serves as academic dean and preaches in churches.
Jeananne administers three small bookstores which sell over one thousand books on theology and ministry every year at an affordable price to seminary students and pastors. She heads up a correspondence discipleship program which touched the lives of nine hundred Hispanic inmates in US jails this year. All Nations Seminary students grade weekly Bible studies through Crossroads Bible Institute and write a letter of discipleship. Jeananne also teaches music and hymnody.

MISSION FIELD Our mission location is Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Graduates serve in all areas of Mexico from the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula to the top of Baja California. A former student is serving as a missionary in Morocco. Several students are asking the Lord to send them to other Muslim lands.
The inter-denominational All Nations Seminary (Todas Las Naciones) is located on a desert road several miles east of Juarez. The thirty students in the basic program range from ages 18-25. This is an in-residence program. There also are three extension programs with 75 students and a master’s degree program with 30 pastors who attend modular classes.
The San Pablo Presbyterian Seminary is located in the heart of Juarez and holds classes in the Renovación Presbyterian Church. Twenty students attend classes three nights a week. The students are 20 to 40 years old. They typically work during the day and study in the evening.
Twenty-eight years ago when Dan and Jeananne first traveled to Mexico, the percentage of evangelical Christians in Mexico was 2.4%. Today, that number has risen to 5%. This growing church needs strong, solid biblical training in the full armor of God.
“I will also make you a light for the Gentiles that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6b
