VISION
We see the CRCNA and CRWM EurAsia staff vigorously participating in Spirit-led mission with churches and other Christian organizations throughout the world so that together we are proclaiming the gospel to more and more people who have not heard it, healthy churches are emerging and the Kingdom of God is advancing in Europe and Asia.
MISSION
The Christian Reformed World Missions EurAsia Team exists to glorify God by leading the CRC to respond obediently to our Lord’s commission to witness to the good news of God’s Kingdom and make disciples of all nations.
MISSION WORK
As a six year old, Russ already knew what his calling was in life he told his first grade teacher he was going to be a minister when he grew up. He never wavered from this sense of calling on his life.

Russ serves as the CRWM Regional Leader for Europe and Asia. This involves planning and budgeting for the various country ministries as well as encouraging/supervising CRWM missionaries in Japan, China, Bangladesh, Russia, Hungary, the Ukraine, Cambodia and the Philippines. Additionally, Russ oversees CRWM projects in Indonesia, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Laos, Lithuania, and soon Romania.
His tasks include building a regional team from the present 18 missionaries, developing ministry strategy for the EurAsia region, establishing partnerships with other Christian churches and organizations, and researching new options for Kingdom Ministry.
“I firmly believe that I am an extension of your ministry,” Russ shares, “God uses His Church with all of its resources as the transforming agency of His Kingdom. Therefore let us together seek first the kingdom of God and its advancement knowing that God will supply all we need”.
