Our pastor is leaving and we’re wondering what an interim pastor/Specialized Transitional Minister is? How do we go about finding one? How much would we pay? Is there financial assistance available?

Specialized Transitional Ministers (STMs) have received special training for the work of helping churches that are emerging from a long pastorate and/or a conflicted pastorate. They help churches to reconnect to the denomination, re-establish lay leadership, learn new skills, heal past hurts, and prepare to call a new pastor.
