We offer one example of community discernment around an Indigenous practice (smudging) on our website, from the CRC’s Indigenous Christian Fellowship in Regina. Wonderful to see the community engaging with The Banner! I recently submitted an idea myself and found the process straightforward. CRC ministers of the Word are eligible for the Ministers’ Pension Plan. From what I understand, eligibility is clearly defined: ordained CRC ministers of the Word qualify directly for the Ministers’ Pension Plan. It's not as simple as unlocking a feature in letra bonita pension eligibility depends on formal status and church arrangements.
