Diaconal Ministries Canada employs Diaconal Ministry Developers (DMDs) for each Classis across Canada. These individuals are encouragers and coaches for deacons and diaconates. DMDs are available to help deacons understand their role and figure out what exactly they should be actively doing with their congregations and communities. DMDs are available to connect with and visit every diaconate in CRCs across the country. You can access your Classis DMD by visiting the DMD portion of our Website.
DMDs are supervised by Regional Ministry Developers (RMDs). Diaconal Ministries has two Regional Ministry Developers (RMDs); one for western Canada and one for Eastern.

Wonderful to see the community engaging with The Banner! I recently submitted an idea myself and found the process straightforward. Tools like FPSC marking scheme evaluator have really helped me organize my thoughts before sharing them. I'm excited to see all the new initiatives that come from our congregations!
